Hailed by American Songwriter as one of Americas most intriguing, creative, and idiosyncratic voices, Eilen Jewell rises from the ashes on her captivating new album, Get Behind The Wheel, picking up the pieces of her shattered world and finding new purpose and meaning after watching her marriage, her band, and what felt like her entire career fall apart in a series of spectacular, heartbreaking implosions. Co produced by multi instrumental wizard Will Kimbrough (Todd Snider, Hayes Carll), the collection pushes the acclaimed singer and songwriters trademark blend of vintage roots noir into more psychedelic territory, with spacious, cinematic arrangements complementing her revelatory explorations of grief, loss, resilience, and redemption.

An Idaho native, Jewell built her career the old fashioned way, touring relentlessly with the kind of undeniable live show that converts the uninitiated into instant acolytes. Over the course of nine albums, she has crisscrossed the globe countless times and shared bills with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Loretta Lynn, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson, George Jones, and Emmylou Harris, Rolling Stone lauded Jewells clever writing, while, NPR declared that she has a sweet and clear voice with a killer instinct lurking beneath the shiny surface, and The Washington Post mused that if Neko Case, Madeleine Peyroux and Billie Holiday had a baby girl who grew up to front a rockabilly band, she would probably sound a lot like Eilen Jewell.

Angela Perley

Angela Perley makes music for road trips across the American heartland. Rooted in cosmic alt-country, roadhouse rock & roll, witchy-woman psychedelia, and amplified Americana, it's a vintage sound for the modern world, glued together by a singer-songwriter who's played everything from dive bars to arenas.

Before she shared shows with American icons like Willie Nelson and Lucinda Williams, Perley launched her career as the front woman of Angela Perley and The Howlin' Moons. Perley with longtime guitarist and partner, Chris Connor, released 5 EPS and 2 full length albums from 2010-2018.

In 2019 Perley released her solo debut album, 4:30, followed by Turn Me Loose in 2023. Since then she’s released several holiday singles and a live EP in 2025 (Moonlight Audio Sessions). Perley’s new band features Columbus heavyweights Nick Kurth (guitar), Jon Coale (drums), Nate Smith (bass), and Alex Estrada (pedal steel guitar on select shows). The group has been reworking songs, sprinkling singles out and keeping a hefty live show schedule rocking.

Perley’s latest single “LA Cowgirl” takes inspiration from when the band played at Stagecoach Festival in 2023 on Nikki Lane’s Horseshoe Stage. “It was our first time ever flying out to a show and was such a magical experience to soak in the desert and all the amazing bands. LA Cowgirl is a heartbreaker-muse-song of sorts... it’s giving cowgirl Penny Lane vibes for sure haha...” says Perley.

Angela Perley has spent a decade building her audience the old-school way. She's a tireless traveler chasing down her own horizon, steadily graduating from local gigs in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio, to national shows alongside bands like CAAMP. “LA Cowgirl” continues Perley’s cruise under neon lights and leaves us waiting patiently for what’s to come.
