Freakin Halloweekend is marking its 20th anniversary by returning to its origins with a two-night event. Friday night, October 30th, at The Bur Oak and Saturday night, October 31st, at The Atwood Music Hall.

Each autumn, as leaves turn to gold and the air grows crisp, Madison’s music lovers and Halloween fans prepare for one of the city’s most exhilarating annual celebrations. Freakin’ Halloweekend is now celebrating its 20th year! It’s much more than a concert—it’s a creative spectacle, a tribute to musical legends, a showcase of costume creativity, and a joyous ode to the spirit of Halloween.

The event has grown into a cherished local tradition, eagerly anticipated by musicians, fans, and newcomers alike. It's also almost legal to drink.
