Join us for an evening of live performance, local food, and a sneak peek of footage from the film. Proceeds directly support ongoing film production, editing, and regional storytelling.
Space Time
Formerly The New Kids, Spacetime is a jazz fusion trio born in the streets of Madison — three teenagers who found kindred chemistry and turned it loose. Micah Vedder, Jonas Feith, and Miles Wiedenhoeft play with the fearlessness of young minds breaking rules they haven't been told exist yet. Cello played like a saxophone. Piano scatting one second, recorder and chimes the next. Nothing is off-limits, and it all unfolds live.
Burgeoning local legends, the trio have been inspired by Hanah Jon Taylor and Roscoe Mitchell. They've brought their sound to Cafe Coda and Atwood Music Hall, and put their music to work at Freedom Rising: Voices Strong, raising funds for Voces de la Frontera.

Powerhouse
Powerhouse is a 5-piece rock band made up of high school kids. They met through a music program called Rock Workshop from the Madison Music Foundry. Powerhouse has been playing together for about four years; they met in the summer of 2022. The band has written over 20 songs together. Their music takes inspiration from Evanescence, System of a Down, and more. The band has performed at venues such as High Noon Saloon, McKee Farms Park, Firefest, Majestic Theatre, Mt. Horeb’s Summer Frolic Parade, and Summerfest, RockOnsin’s 2024 Finals Competition.

The Bridge
The Bridge is a local band from Madison formed by three siblings. They’ve been playing together since around 2018 with small holiday songs and throughout the years they evolved into a more “formal” band. They cover songs in English and Spanish, from genres like classic rock, alternative rock, and more. The oldest, Shelly Torres (she/her), is 18 years old. She plays guitar, piano, electric bass, and sings. The middle child, Emily Torres (she/her), is 12 years old. She plays piano, guitar, drums, and also sings. The youngest, Logan Torres (He/Him), is 11 years old, and he plays the guitar, piano, drums, and sings as well. The three siblings alternate between instruments and they all share the mic.

Def Sonic (DS) of Madison, WI, grew up orphaned in Milwaukee, WI— learning some hard lessons in the process. Making music provided an outlet for personal catharsis. The sound lives in "The Land Of Nod,” like yacht rock heard faintly through the walls of a sensory deprivation tank. Like his music, DS is warm, inviting and something of a mystery. Don’t bother trying to solve it, the mystery is the answer.
The Earthlings
The Earthlings, a Madison music and arts collective, combines diverse eras of electronic sonic rock together with a laid back psychedelic indie emphasis, euphoric space, and positive vibrations from the 60's, early 70's, and 90's.
